What's That Smell?
Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman, Timothy Liljegren, has been banished to the second pairing after stinking up the place on Tuesday against the Islanders.
Liljegren played so badly that Toronto Maple Leafs head coach, Sheldon Keefe, just straight up dumped him on the second pairing for old man Mark Giordano to deal with, saying "here, he's your problem now".
After Giordano recovered from the shock of realizing his back was going to be sore from carrying the Swedish stinker all night he was heard swearing at Keefe, who was seen laughing behind the bench along with assistant coach Dean Chynoweth, who thought of the idea.
Justin Holl is expected to remain on the top pair with Morgan Rielly where he belongs.
Why Was Liljegren Demoted?
Because he stinks worse than whatever is in the bottom of my fridge where the vegetables are supposed to go.
There's people who paint with crap and call it art. And maybe it is. But guess what? It still stinks.
And so does Liljegren.
Is Liljegren Good At Anything?
He clears a crowded room fast.
Other than that? No. To be frankly candid he reminds me of Barbie's boyfriend.
They're both blonde haired, blue eyed, and appear to be lacking anything below the belt that would qualify them as men.
At the end of the day Liljegren is your typical offensive defenseman. One that struggles in his own end. I find myself very uncomfortable with the fact that watching him play he reminds me a lot of Jake Gardiner.
Another player who seemed lacking testosterone producing glands.
