I Pick The Rangers To Win The Cup
Unlike the Toronto Maple Leafs, the New York Rangers have a Vezina winning goaltender. AND a Norris winning defenseman. AND oodles and oodles of talent up front. AND they just added Tarasenko.
And that's why I pick the New York Rangers, and not the Toronto Maple Leafs, to win the Stanley Cup this year.
They have a better team.
What a horrible thing to say. Some hack who has his own Toronto Maple Leafs blog can't even pick his own favourite team, that he blogs about every single day, to win the cup.
I can't even imagine this group of softies getting out of the first round at this point.
This Is All Kyle Dubas' Fault
What has Dubas done to improve the team?
Nothing.
What can he do to improve the team?
Nothing.
All the good GM's, who have lots of cap space, are adding all kinds of good players.
The Toronto Maple Leafs haven't done anything yet, and probably won't.
This lame duck GM's goose is about to get cooked.
One And Done
Dubas hitched his wagon to the four forward experiment and appears to be riding that wreck all the way to the finish line.
Going into the playoffs with the exact same team of chokers that couldn't get it done six times already. The same crew that just lost to the worst team in the league. Here's hoping they beat Chicago tomorrow night.
There's not much room left under the bus.
